One of 350 copies of which this is Number '221', hand-set in Caslon Type and printed at Whittington Court from the original wood-engravings on Zerkall mould-made paper by John and Rosaling Randle and Miriam Macgregor. Bound by Smith Settle & Co., original quarter dark green cloth, the boards covered in Whittington marbled papers and green endpapers, gilt rule to front and rear board and gilt lettering to spine, top edge green, other edges untrimmed. Housed in a board slip-case vwith slight sunning at opening. Imperial Octavo. pp. [xii] plus engravings, each printed on a separate page.
