One of an edition limited to 'about 400' copies, printed on Magnani paper, in Hyperion type designed by Berthold Wolpe for the Bauer Foundry in 1931, using an Arab Crown Folio treadle platen and Autovic platen press. The printing plates were supplied by Peacock Blockmaking. SIGNED in pencil on the colophon by the hand binder Mary ? of Darlington Hall. Silver leather covered boards with gilt impressed lettering to the front panel, decorative endpapers. Octavo, [6] i-x, 58, [6] with 57 woodcut illustrations of traditional crafts, each with a red title and pagination, and six other illustrations in the Introduction.
