Copy number '231' of an edition limited to 240 copies, being one of 20 copies numbered 221-40 reserved in sheets for binders. Signed by Martyn Thomas on the colophon. Binder's blue cloth over boards, publisher's printed label to the spine. The text was keyboarded and cast in 12 / 15pt Monotype Romulus, and printed on 148gsm Mohawk Superfine paper using a Western proof press. Quarto, 290 x 230 mm, pp. xii, 116 with fifteen illustrations and tip-ins, including a frontispiece photographic portrait of Harry Carter at OUP in the 1960s.
