Second Edition, Sixth Thousand, revised by Francis Darwin with illustrations. Publisher's green cloth with blind rule frames to boards and gilt lettering and decoration to spine, brown endpapers. Octavo, pp. xiv, 378, plus 32 pages of 'Mr Murray's General List of Works'. This work was first published in 1875 with a second edition in 1888.
Condition
A book in Very Good condition in a tight binding with no cracking of the hinges and minimal rubbing to sharp board points. Tiny bookseller's label to front pastedown and remnant of label to front free endpaper. Now with clear, removable archival, protective cover.
