'Listen' was published in a total of only 12 issues between 1954 and 1962. This issue includes poems by Philip Larkin, Donald Davie, Kingsley Amis, George Hartley, Anthony Thwaite, John Holloway, George Wharton, Alan Brownjohn, Fergus Allen, John Miles, Vernon Scannell, James Simmons, Peter Ferguson, James Harrison, W.S. Merwin, Richard Selig, and Tommy MacGloin. Philip Larkin's contribution is 'Ignorance' and a review of 'The Shield of Achilles' by W.H. Auden entitled 'No More Fever'.
