[a]8 A8-Y8 Z4 pp. [xvi], 360. Frontispiece tissue-guarded sepia photograph of Sir Stanley Maude by Maull & Fox. Six photograph illustrations and seven pages of maps. Maude served in South Africa, on the Western Front (3rd Corps Staff), in The Dardenelles (Officer Commanding 13th Division), and in Mesopotamia, where he commanded the army capturing Baghdad.
Condition
A book in Good condition with hinge starting at frontispiece and age-worn boards, but binding still tight. Lacking the rare dust-jacket.
