The MISPRINTED First Edition, first impression, with printing sequence line '13579108642'. Publisher's silver-grey paper-covered boards with black lettering to spine, illustrated endpapers. Clear, removable, archival protective sleeve fitted to dust-jacket. Octavo. pp. [6], 282. The misprinting begins on page 252 with missing text and page number. A further five pages, 261, 265, 268, 272 and 277 have the same misprinting errors. These error affected an unknown quantity of the First Edition, first impression and, when identified, other copies were recalled and pulped.
