Copy number '65' of an edition limited to 75 copies set in 10pt Caslon and 30pt Chisel and printed on Liber Charta paper from St Cuthberts Mill on an 1832 Barrett & Cope Albion. Quarter brown cloth over paste-patterned paper boards, gilt lettering to the cloth of the upper board, light brown endpapers. 12mo., 184 x 155 mm, pp. [24] with a frontispiece engraving of the breast bone of a Tawny Owl, and five engravings of owls using blocks supplied by Victoria Hall and Nigel Hamway, originally cut to illustrate Yarrell's 'A History of British Birds'. A sample of the paper used for the covers of 'Bewick's Matchem' is also tipped-in.
