One of an edition limited to 50 copies prepared for friends of the Press, published to help sustain the annual Justin Howes memorial lecture, the first of which was given in 2006. Text set in 12 pt Monotype Caslon on Zerall paper. Printed grey paper wrappers. Narrow Quarto, pp. [6] i-ii, 1-23 [24-30] [2 blank], with illustrated ancient letterforms printed from the original metal types in the collection of the St Bride Collection.
