Copy number '15' of an edition of 160 copies printed on 200gsm Fabriano Artistico, using 24pt Scotch types for Marco's running verse and Bodini for the remaining text, including the variations on the title page. Cloth bound spine with gilt lettering, patterned paper-covered boards from an original 1920's design by Enid Marx (reconstructed from a small sample). Folio, 15½" x 11¼", pp. [60] + colophon, with a linocut for each letter of the alphabet and the associated animal, many coloured (colour scheme by Peter Allen). TOGETHER WITH a portfolio entitled 'Enid Marx: A miscellany of engravings printed from the wood for subscribers to Incline Press', containing eight black-and-white engravings, including the engraving on the rear of the portfolio. Now in a blue cloth over board slipcase by Christopher Shaw.
