'First Printing in America, March 1927' (stated on copyright page). Publisher's brown buckram with gilt lettering to the spine, illustrated endpapers by Erik Kennington, fore-edge and lower edge untrimmed, top-edge light brown tinting. Clear, removable, archival protective sleeve fitted to dust-jacket with lettering in red and black to spine and front cover panel, small, red, arab-on-horseback motif to front cover panel and publisher's initials in black on rear cover panel. Octavo. pp. [xx], 336. With 24 full-page illustrations, including the frontispiece after a portrait drawing of Lawrence by Augustus John; 18 line cuts by Kennington from the 1926 Seven Pillars of Wisdom and not present in any other edition of Revolt. Fold-out map printed in black and red tipped in before rear endpaper. This format was a 'gift' edition for the 1927 Christmas season. It resembles in format and binding and dust-jacket the First English Edition. A hand written inscription in Latin, headed 'Boston', appears at the head of the copyright page.

A book in Very Good condition indeed in a Good Plus dust-jacket with water stains to top edge (not affecting the book) and faded lettering to the spine, but which is not price-clipped (showing $5.00 net).
