Unfaded brown wash to upper text block, otherwise rough cut. Lacking the dust-jacket. The first impression of the first trade edition, printed in July 1935, with the printing error on page 20 in the list of illustrations; 'A Forced Landing' illustrations are listed as pages 302-303, they are actually on pages 304-305, this error was corrected a month later with the release of the second impression, the book was out to the 6th impression by October 1935. There were 60,000 copies of the first impression and a total of 14 impressions, the last being in April 1939. Published at 30 shillings. [O'Brien A042].
