First Edition, first issue. Publisher's cream cloth with red lettering to spine and yellow endpapers. INSCRIBED in blue ink by the author 'To Armide | with love | from | Stevie | Christmas, 1958' on the front free endpaper. Clear, removable, archival protective sleeve fitted to the laminated dust-jacket which is illustrated by the author.
Condition
A book in Very Good condition with a little offsetting to the endpapers, creasing to the rear free endpaper, in a Very Good dust-jacket with age related marking, a little rubbing and lifting of the laminate with nicks at top edge of the rear panel near the fold.
