Publisher's blue cloth with impressed motif to front board, gilt decoration and lettering to the spine partly within a framed light blue panel. Clear, removable, archival protective cover fitted to the dust-jacket. Octavo. pp. xlii, 1092. Two scraps of paper laid in as bookmarks with a note in Laurie Lee's HANDWRITING. Laurie Lee contributes 'Day of These Days'.
